During the development of the CycleUp interest was focused to improve the safety and to optimizing the use of available space. The CycleUp is a very strong system provided against all forms of vandalism and with low maintenance costs. Also the systems hallmark is the use of durable materials and a solid construction. The CycleUp is suitable for outside and inside. Loose parts are contained in a case. The CycleUp offers an optimal practicality. The system has a gas spring for a light and simple way to lift the second level. After several tests, it is also known that when second layer of the CycleUp is lifted (including the bike) the weight carried is reduced notably comparing to the traditional systems.
User friendly
With the CycleUp the higher and the lower bicycle parking layer are easy to reach. All the places are made for almost all kind of bicycles. The bike can easily be pushed into place from behind through an access gutter and it falls by itself in place. Our systeem is developed in a way that all the proceedings take place from behind the bicycle.
The higher and lower places are developed with front-fork support. This is the only way to keep the bicycle stable and safe without the wheel or other parts of the bicycle getting damaged. The higher parking place is easy to use. The layer can be pulled out, the front wheel can be placed, then the bicycle is pushed softly and it falls into the front-fork support and the front-fork lock so the bicycle cannot fall from the rack. For the upper and the lower layer there are binding facilities accessible for the user.
Safety in use
With two-level bicycle parking systems, safety is very important. The bicycle can not fall because it gets immediately blocked by the front-fork lock once is parked on place. This is why people can not get hurted or have accidents during the normal use of the system.
